I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's bout.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
